Technology has become firmly entrenched in our lives – so much that we can hardly imagine separating ourselves from mobile phones, computers, and tablets, even for a short time. When it is here already, the only thing we can do is to try to maximally extend the life of these devices and thus save our money. We reveal the tricks that will help you in this.
1. Do not hold the phone on the charger if the phone is already full
Sounds obvious, isn’t it? But just think for a moment … How many times did you remove the phone from the charger and see that it is 100% full (and so it stood for some time)? When the phone is full, the voltage will only damage the battery.
2. You do not need to charge your phone up to 100%
The battery on your phone does not have to be full 100%. It’s actually harmful to keep it at its full capacity and it’s better to stay a little empty. Do not hold the phone too long on the charger – it’s better to charge it several times a day for 10-15 minutes, but once to full battery capacity.
3. Use every opportunity to charge your phone
This rule is closely related to the previous one. When playing a game or sending messages, put your phone on the charger. Do not wait for your electronic friend to start signaling you to be “hungry”!
4. Avoid heating
Batteries are extremely sensitive to heat. For example, Apple is advising its users to remove even the holster when charging the phone. If you notice that your phone is hot after charging, do the same. On the other hand, if you are exposed to the sun, keep the phone in the holster to protect it from the sun’s rays.
